Visual: Vibrant ruby red with violet reflections.

Nose: Fine with notes of black cherry, cherry pit, fresh wood and hot bread crust.

Palate: Fruity, spicy and toasty savours (red berries, pepper, nutmeg, toasted bread..) with fine, fresh tannins.

Wine Spectator A touch of new oak adds spicy complexity and smooths out the edges in this suave red. Bright cherry and currant notes play underneath. Juicy and long. Best from 2010 through 2018. 300 cases imported. Score: 90. —Bruce Sanderson, February 29, 2008.
