Campania has one of the longest histories of grape growing in all of Italy, dating back to the era of Greek occupation. The combination of the celebrated climate and the rich volcanic soils from Mt. Vesuvius make Campania one of the most exciting wine regions in Italy.
The Falanghina is pale yellow in color, and offers a rich and intense aroma of fruit, with hints of apple, pineapple, quince, and pear. It is a wine for the whole meal, equally at home with hors d’oeuvres, soups, fish dishes, cold dishes and cheeses.
